A surrealist fairytale meets modern rom-com, Dylan, We Need to Talk follows a hopeless romantic who suspects her boyfriend might be cheating. What starts as a chaotic quest through the city unravels unto something far deeper- a magical exploration of self-worth, friendship, and what it really means to find your happily-ever-after.

A table read is a gathering where actors, writers, and sometimes producers or directors come together to read through a script aloud. It’s often one of the first opportunities to hear the dialogue spoken and get a sense of how the story flows.

This is a chance for me to gather feedback, refine the script, and explore how the scenes and dialogue resonate with an audience. Think of it as a creative checkpoint — and a lot of fun!

Nope! Copies of the script will be provided, so no need to print anything. If you prefer reading on a device, feel free to bring your iPad or tablet. I’ll also be sharing a PDF of the script on the day of the read.

After the reading you will receive a short form to fill out. There will also be a short feedback session to gather thoughts and reactions. All insights are welcome!
